The Wadden Sea is an ideal sailing area for beginners. Almost no other place warrants for wind alike, and also beginning windsurfers benefit from the shallow waters of the national park. Professional windsurfers and kite surfers will find perfect conditions on the exposed side of the island. This is where the world’s elite meets for the annual Surf-Cup every fall. Sailing and windsurfing courses are offered to both beginners and more experienced guests.
