Over 11 metres long, the Scharmützelsee lake is the largest lake in Brandenburg and offers fantastic opportunities for sailing, canoeing and all sorts of other watersports. On average, the wind reaches level 4 on the Beaufort scale.

Just 200 metres away from the resort on the western bank of the lake is the Axel Schmidt Yacht Academy. The sailing and speedboat training facility offers the opportunity for you to get your sailing or speedboat certificate. The academy also offers the VDWS (German Association of Windsurfing and Watersports Schools) basic course for windsurfing, yawls and catamarans.

The top highlight has to be the legendary RIVA yachts, which are moored directly in front of the Yacht Academy. Experience 1960s joie de vivre in the Rolls-Royce of the yachting world as a guest at our resort.
